It was warm today, warm and muggy. But you can tell fall is just around the corner. I know it is close because we are going to Nashville, week after next and we always go to Nashville in the fall. I know because I am starting to gather and start lists of the things I will need to put in the motor coach for the winter in AZ.  I know because I am starting to get a little sad about missing my sisters the months I am gone. I am always torn when it starts getting close to the time to leave.  I know I can't stay here in the winter. I would be a prisoner in the house, I can't navigate the ice and snow. I know there would be a lot more pain in my bones from the cold.  But oh how I miss spending time with my sisters. I am hoping they will come out west to visit this year.  I don't want to whine about what I can't have, when I know how blessed I am to have what I do have.

  1. In many ways I envy you getting to go away from the cold but in other ways I enjoy the change of seasons. My parents go to Texas during the winter and my mom finds it hard to leave but once she is there and getting to enjoy being outside, she is fine. Plus when she talks to us and hears about the freezing cold and all the snow she is happy to be there. :)

I sure love the quote you have at the end of your posts. :) XX

  2. Don't be too sad. We'll just have to keep up with each other more. Once I figure out the photo software I'll be able to keep you up-to-date on how we are aging.
