Door County Views
We are finally here in beautiful Egg Harbor , WI. and I am pooped. No matter how tired I am , I swear I will never, ever put the RV away without a complete cleaning again. Cause you have to work twice as hard to clean it after driving all day and setting everything up! Will post some pictures tomorrow, now I am going to put my feet up!

Packing the Coach
This is the part of RVing that I don't enjoy, loading up! Of course I hate unloading even more. We try to keep duplicates of everything possible in the RV, but since we knew it would be sitting in storage most of the summer, I brought a great deal in that I normally wouldn't. These piles are just new things I have picked and Izzy's stuff, I still have clothes and food to assemble. But it is all cool, tomorrow morning we will be heading out to Door County and my bestest friend ever is coming down with her husband from Minnesota to spend a long weekend. Yeah!! I just checked to weather and it's high 70"s and no rain for the next 5 days, again, Yeah!
I had to throw in a picture of Izzy's new hair do, Jay just hates it, I told him to hush or I would put a pink bow around it. Now back to packing......

Refief
When I took Izzy out this morning at 4 am (this has got to be corrected, perhaps we will discuss these early morning trips at puppy school this week) I was so excited to realize I was not stepping out into a sauna for the first time in over a week. The air was so fresh and cool, I just thought, ah.... Of course now we have to go out and clean up the aftermath of last nights storm, but it will be worth it not to have that so oppressive heat.
Jay got me Adobe Elements for my birthday so I tried just jumping in last night without watching any of the tutorials ( turned out not to be a good idea) and started fooling around with a picture I took last week. Jay says it is "overdone" and he is right, but I am going to have so much fun with this. Hope you enjoy this beautiful Sunday.

Guess who got this little beauty as an early birthday present? That's right, I did! I used it making supper tonight, shredded cabbage for coleslaw and sliced squash to fry. I tell you if this cooking bug had bit me when I was younger I mighta been another Paula Dean by now!! Course I am going to be so stinkin' old tomorrow she's got nothing to worry about. But, oh, I know I am going to have fun playing with this little goody.

I was taking a picture of my Trumpet vine bloom (just in case it is another five years before it blooms again) and out crawled this bee, cool. Aren't they the pretties blooms, I am so glad the vine finally bloomed before we sold the house.
Then as I was walking back to the house I noticed this mushroom on an old tree stump, looks like something from Dr. Who. Very scary looking.
Jay and I went over to the storage place today and did a run through of the new system to pull the jeep. Smooth as butha ( translation - butter). Actually went a little faster than the smart. So next Thursday Door County here we come.

I need to have more experience with posting pictures and managing the blog so bear with me as I post about my mundane life.
Took Izzy to my sister Louise's house yesterday so she could have a play date with her cousin Heidi while Louise and I scrapbooked. They play really well together, but some times I think Heidi is thinking "doesn't this kid ever slow down"! Wish I could get a picture of Izzy with their cat, but that will never happen cause Izzy will never let herself get close enough to that cat to be in the same frame.

This is Izzy's official place when we hit the truck stop to fill up. She like to supervise when Jay washes the windsheild.

We have been "RV'ing" for three years now. Last Spring we bought a Tiffin Phaeton QBH diesel pusher from Kings Camper in Wausau WI. It is a real beauty and we travel about eight months out of the year. We try to spend some time home in the summer months. I love, love, love the Tiffin. I would rather be in it than in the stick house.
