Vegas cont'd

Yesterday we went thru the Miracle Mile shops, good Lord there were a lot of shops. Then we wandered through Paris, what a beautiful place. They don't have a lot of shops but they have tons of restaurants and shows and a beautiful casino.

Paris Lobby

This is a shot of the interior , very cheesy Paris streets.

Then we found this restaurant, actually it was a buffet.

It was amazing, at each station there was a chef preparing the food for his station.

And the desserts, oh my the desserts, I had one of these,

and two of these.

It was great, I had asparagus and brussell sprouts and brie mac and cheese and J had mussels and things I had never seen before.  Needless to say we were stuffed to the gills and moaned and groaned all the way home.  Only in Vegas, unfortunately the weight you gain in Vegas does not stay in Vegas!  I forgot to tell you the best part. When we got to the buffet, the line was very, very long.  I saw a small sign that said you could jump the line for $10 each. So we went in prepared to pay $20, the hostess saw I had the cane and said oh no, you don't have to pay anything, our guests that have difficulty walking can always go VIP.  I smugly looked at J over my shoulder and said "sometimes it pays to be married to a gimp".  I always say that when we use handicapped parking ( which I don't do unless I am very tired), it's one of those things I can say, but it wouldn't be good if anyone else said it.

  1. It truly is another world isn't it.
I'm glad you didn't have to pay that extra $20 as well you should not have had to.
