Take time for some sunflowers

No matter where we are J takes his motorcycle out for a ride every morning. Since we are together 24/7 especially in the RV this helps to keep us from driving each other crazy. The added bonus is that he usually comes home with a good story to tell us about something he saw and some pictures. If what he saw was really cool and we can get there four wheeling in the jeep he takes Iz and I to see it.

Yesterday he found these fields of sunflowers, over 600 acres and he knew I would go crazy to see them. I love sunflowers, before we started RV ing a used to grow them in my back yard.

This is one of mine from years ago. Should have entered in the fair, bet I would have won.

But I have never seen such a sight as this, acre after acre of sunflowers, isn't it gorgeous.

Just take a deep breath and enjoy, We have one day left here in Michigan and then its back to the real world and back into the mess of remodeling. Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day, hope it's a good day for you.

  1. HI Joyce! I am another one who loves Sunflowers! I've never grown my own, but have lots of artificial one's within my home that I decorate with! They are just so pretty! The one you shared of yours is sooo tall and very pretty!

    Blessings,

  3. My mom never liked sunflowers for some reason, and so when my dad wanted to plant some he had to do it out by the garbage cans. They were so beautiful and made good cover for the garbage. Those fields must be fantastic to see.
